The spearmint really comes through when I shake it into cold water, way more refreshing than plain iced tea. I was worried the licorice root would make it too sweet, but it just rounds out the ginger nicely. Been drinking it every afternoon instead of soda.

I've been making this hot every morning and the licorice root gives it just enough sweetness without any sugar. The ginger comes through nice and warm, and it dissolves fast with no gritty bits at the bottom of the cup.

The spearmint and lemon peel really come through when I steep this hot, and I like that I can taste the ginger without it being overpowering. I usually drink it mid-morning instead of snacking, and it keeps me full until lunch. The licorice root adds just enough sweetness that I don't need honey.
